The Photography & the Video Show returned to the NEC Birmingham, England and I attended on Monday, 20th September 2021. My main focus was on photography and all the equipment and services associated with photography.
Having a virtual photography show last year was challenging and amusing to see people sitting down in their sofas on social media when attending the conferences. I am a hand on person who likes to see and touch and ask questions face to face. The trip to Birmingham is also a good day out.
On the Nikon School Stage there were many presentations such as Tianna J-Williams presenting Maternity Photography. Learning about other photographic techniques and the experience of other photographers is just as important as the equipment.
As I walked around and visited the stands I reviewed what equipment needed replacing. The camera was replaced before COVID lockdown but has not been used for a lot of work for the last 12 months. The printer has not seen much work but was becoming dated (ancient). I took away a flyer and samples for the future replacement.
Never leave home without a camera. I captured images of the event and those offering services such as Natasha J Bella offering Training and Model Photography. Other stands were visited which had wonderful photographic scenes which included wonderful models in their presentations. The images which I captured are shown below.
I wanted to try out other cameras so I brought a spare SD card with me. Below are the results.
Finally, I end with images of the last event I captured.
It is almost time for the journey home.
