It was January 2019 and Brexit date was set for 31st March 2019! I wanted to see Paris before this event so I decided to take up the special offer being offered by Eurostar. Paris was booked for the 26th to 27th March 2019 and the hotel was beside the Eiffel Tower.

I purchased a guide to Paris at Saint Pancras Station and whilst on the train I planned my journey. A lovely lady returning from London showed me how to get around Paris. Thank You. It was a lovely day so I started capturing moving landscapes through the train window to kill the time.

At 6:50 p.m. French time the Eurostar train arrived at its destination and I captured various local underground trains to Invalides. When I left the station I made my way to the hotel whilst taking pictures. The hotel was in the same direction as the Eiffel Tower so I headed that way with a few detours to capture Paris at night time.
I finally arrived at Hotel Juliana. Take a look inside.
After booking in I when back out to capture more images. Paris was still awake. I needed sleep but I also needed to capture images by night. I was in the Eiffel Tower Quarter but I did not venture beyond the Eiffel Tower.
The bed was nice and comfortable and I slept. I set two alarms to ensure that I got up early. After showering in the lovely bathroom I was having breakfast at 6:30 a.m. This was my last day in Paris and I needed the energy. It is time for some food photography.
The following equipment was packed for the trip: Digital camera with spare battery, Fast lens 50 mm f1.8, 18-55 mm and 75-300 mm. A tripod (for self-portrait) and a compact camera were also carried to take panoramic shots. It was important to capture the images as quickly as possible because I had to capture the Eurostar train to get me back to London.
The journey begins. I made my way towards the Eiffel Tower and captured images along the way. This is my first trip up the Eiffel Tower and it was cloudy but the blue sky could be seen. Here are the images.
The whole morning was spent in the Eiffel Tower which was enjoyable and I headed back to Hotel Juliana to collect my bag before check out time. I am going to miss that bed.

The next mission was to explore the Eiffel Tower Quarter. One thing which captured my attention was the e-scooters that were available as transport. London wake up: we need alternative transport and a safe way to use them.

It was such a lovely day that I spent it around the Eiffel Tower just chilling and eating. This meant that I could not visit everyplace on my schedule. The option was to visit Paris again. Notre Dame is currently off that list! Here are the images.
With the time I had left the next location was Champs-Elysées. Whilst walking there I captured more images and even stopped at an exhibition. Once I arrived at The Arc de Triomphe I captured images and left. My time had run out.
By 8:50 p.m. I was back in Saint Pancras Station. It was a lovely time in Paris. Another visit is needed to see more of Paris/France.

The Saint Pancras image was taken with the 50 mm fast lens set at ISO 800, f1.8, 1/80 sec, +1/3 EV.

Hello! Do you know if they make any plugins to safeguard against
