For the Late Summer Bank Holiday in England I spent it at home, Monday, 26th August 2019. By 5 p.m. I was in Notting Hill, London, England to have a look at the Carnival. The weather was lovely and it was crowded. People were everywhere – estimates say over one million people.
I passed by Kensington Temple who were pushing out the Gospel side of Carnival before I proceeded down the road to take some pictures. Take a look at the crowd.
I made use of my ear plugs and proceeded down the road with the crowd to take some pictures. Most people were relaxing and there were signs that Caribbean food has been consumed to the maximum.
After walking for one hour I finally located the wonderful carnival costumes and my camera sprang into action.
It was after 8:30 p.m. and I decided to head home. As can be seen from this image the people did not want to leave.
The costumes all looked good and so did the people. It was a good photographic evening.
Here are the remaining pictures off Notting Hill Carnival 2019.
Thank you for posing for the camera.
