Easter was spent in Jamaica and I travelled as much as I could. This is a summary of my photographic travel through Jamaica. Other postings will cover specific areas in more photographic details.

It all started in a hotel room near Gatwick Airport. My aim was to watch four movies whilst in the air for 9 hours!

After checking in the luggage I started the day with a good breakfast.

Four movies later and Montego Bay was looking good from the sky.

Traffic did not delay my trip to the hotel. The plane landed in the afternoon.
It was Good Friday so I put on a shirt for Church.
For the afternoon of Good Friday I spent the rest of the day in Negril.

My Easter post Easter – Jesus Christ covers Easter.
On Saturday I was in Savanna la mar enjoying bun and cheese and after Easter Sunday service I had oxtail with rice and peas.

On Easter Monday I went to the Montpelier Agriculture Show.
Jamaica has sunshine and a rich soil for growing food and live stock.
It was a wonderful day and people attended to see the agriculture, the entertainment, the Miss Agriculture pageant and the night time session.

On Sunday I was in Kingston for the Carnival.
Due to the wonderful weather I had drank a lot of cold drinks which were maintained at a certain temperature in very innovative ways 🙂
The carnival was well attended and all hotel rooms in Kingston were all booked for that weekend.

I left Portmore and headed to Mandeville.

Whilst waiting in Mandeville I purchased hominy porridge. I love it.

Whilst in Mandeville I was fed beetroot juice with Dragon stout and the food you see. Home cooking is the best.
Time goes quickly. I was on the way back to the airport.

After checking in the bags I went to Island Grill for a good meal.

Good bye Jamaica.
I caught the morning sunrise and landed back in England.

It was a foggy day so we had to wait in the plane until it could find a place to park.

London is my home.
