Bird Song

by T Stone March 27, 2021 No Comments

One year ago my photography moved into a different direction and I was capturing images of birds. Due to the COVID19 pandemic weddings, portraits and functions were not happening. Images of nature, street photography and food kept me occupied. With the silence that came over London, England the songs of different birds could be distinguished.

Capturing images and sounds was very interesting and made the record button on my camera a function to be used more often.

March is the time when winter becomes spring and the branches without leaves allows you to capture images of the birds in the trees quite clearly.

For the birds I am assuming that March is also the time for family planning and birds look about matters regarding this issue.

Tree branches will start to show green buds which is food for the birds. This is the time when you can capture different types of birds more frequently.

As can be seen above and below the buds become leaves and the view of the birds will soon be obscured.

This does not stop you from capturing images of the birds. You look for the birds which go for the highest branch and the roof top aerials.

Venturing out further to other locations allowed more images to be captured of birds.

The sky is the limit and there are quite nice settings where you can capture birds singing their songs.

Spring is here. Go out and capture some images.

Details: RAW file, ISO 640, f5.6, 1/500 sec, +1/3 EV, 975 mm. Converted to jpeg with daylight setting.
