Art & Wood Green
On Saturday, 29th September 2018 I decided to visit the Arts and Crafts area of Wood Green after seeing an advertisement. Put ‘N22 Open Studios’ in your search engine and it will give you details. The last day is Sunday, 30 September 2018 from noon to 6 p.m. The nearest Tube Station is Wood Green.
The place has changed! The last time I visited it was only The Chocolate Factory which was showing Arts and Crafts of different types. It now spreads over four sites. This leafy building was not there the last time I visited.
I started taking pictures whilst walking towards The Chocolate Factory. The sunlight was strong so I set sunlight white balance, ISO 80 and f8 whilst I was outside. Just in case you did not notice I had to put the sky back in using software for the first two pictures. I left as is for the one above.
I finally arrived at the entrance for The Chocolate Factory. The studios were spread over two floors. Looking at the arts, crafts and jewellery you could see that they were deeply involved with their work.

On the First Floor was The Sustenance Food Company. Free tastings of various Caribbean dishes was available. Drop in on Sunday and have a taste.
I followed the signs to take me to the next venue, Artspace Three.
This place brought back memories off when I used to work in Wood Green.
When I went inside I saw a true work of Art. With wireless being the in-thing for networking this ‘comms cabinet’ was now history.
Visit Wood Green Arts & Crafts to have a look at the works of the various artists.
In The Chocolate Factory there was the sound in the corridor of a lovely lady playing her violin. It was a good feeling at the site.
