Afro Hair & Beauty Live 2018
Afro Hair and Beauty Live was held at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London from Sunday, 27th to Monday, 28th May. The event covers hair, cosmetics, fashion and seminars for anyone interested in Caribbean or African life styles. This show has been running for 37 years.
I attended on the Monday and as soon as you entered you could see it was quite busy on the lower level. A panoramic sweep was taken with my compact camera.
On the upper level it was also busy with activity.
This was an opportunity for small and large business to show to the visitors what services they had to offer over the weekend.
The food and drinks producer Tropical Sun allowed you to sample their food and drink.
Tropical Sun was giving out tins of coconut water. I added the following ingredients to my water. The drink complemented my jerk chicken meal this week.
The white balance on the picture below is shade white balance.
You could not help but notice the main stage which had live entertainment. There were free products being handed out to the visitors.
Most of the vendors came to the main stage to let the visitors know what they do or what was at their stand.
The following exhibitor for As I Am was all about hair and how to style it.
The following images are all about the different hair styles.
Luster’s S-Curl Battle of the Barbers and Beards was held on the main stage and the results announced later on the same day.
Monday climaxed with the fashion show. Creativity was shown in the use of colour, patterns and shapes. Let the show begin.
The events on the main stage were completed by a sitting female singing.
Afro Hair and Beauty Live has always been an exciting event to attend. There is so much to offer for everyone who attends. Place this event in your diary for next year.
